« When I heard that my two grandchildren were enrolled at the Ecole Montessori International School, Grenade, I was keen to find out more about the school. My observations, together with a lifetime of first hand experience, in schools across the world, from classroom practitioner, to headteacher and School Governor, confirmed the impression I have gained from both grandchildren. Here was something to be valued. Staffed by caring professionals, and run to the highest standards of excellence, the school represents all that is the very best in education. Good practise, in a child centred learning environment, is demonstrated in all that the school does. Expectations and attainments are high, and children are encouraged to reach ever higher, in all they do, within and outwith the classroom. Whilst all activities and teaching are of a high standard, particular praise must go to the care given to children with Special Educational Needs. Those children presenting with Sp.L.D. are monitored, encouraged, and handled with the very greatest of care. Self confidence is the key-note here, and it is very apparent that this is being achieved in no small measure. A recent school production show-cased all of the children and showed just what gains are being made in this area, so crucial to success in life. Academic progress is consistently very good. My personal experience of the school includes time spent preparing the older children for their recent production of ‘Alice, The Musical’. The children with whom I worked were responsive, keen to learn, gave of their best and were a complete joy to work with. In conclusion, I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the school to any parent looking for an education that puts the child first and supports and encourages at every turn. What lucky children they are to be in such an environment! First class! »
